Hi, I’m Marie and I am a self-taught painter from Atlantic Canada. I specialize in painting plein air landscapes alongside a busy studio practice and being Mom to two young children. Working outside to translate fleeting moments onto canvas brings a vibrant energy to my pieces, and I hope to always incorporate this into my practice. I have participated in regional plein air festivals and events, as well as completed a plein air residency with the City of Fredericton. My work is typically recognized for its confident use of colour and visible brushstrokes. My goal with my art is to move slow and make things.
