Marie is a self-taught painter from Atlantic Canada. She specializes in painting plein air landscapes alongside a busy studio practice and being Mom to two young children. Working outside to translate fleeting moments onto canvas brings a vibrant energy to her pieces. She has participated in regional and international plein air festivals and events, as well as completed a plein air residency with the City of Fredericton. Her work is typically recognized for its confident use of colour and visible brushstrokes.
